Spring 2023

Spring/summer is here! We had a very tough winter beekeeping wise. We lost 75% of our colonies over winter. It is a devastating loss, and very demoralizing. The colonies we thought would make it thru didn’t and the ones we thought wouldn’t make it did. So go figure.

we are going to try a few new things this year, selling swarm traps. Swarm traps are basically temporary homes for honeybees. They are a good way to increase your own apiary without having to buy bees every year. With any luck our colony numbers will be back up to where they were before. We shall see.

Also we plan on selling via driveway stands to be more available! We shall see!
